Job summary

Dashiell Corporation, a leading provider of electrical infrastructure services, seeks a Supervising Substation Engineer in The Woodlands, TX. You will oversee design teams, ensure project quality and profitability, and coordinate across engineering, construction, and procurement to deliver multiple substation projects.

The role requires a PE license and 15+ years in substation design/engineering, with deep knowledge of NEC/NESC/IEEE/ANSI standards and high-voltage systems. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required or ability to obtain within 1 year of hire.
• 15+ years of experience in the electrical power industry with substation design/engineering experience.
• Experience leading multi-discipline design teams and coordinating with construction.
• Strong knowledge of high-voltage substations (138 kV and above) and related fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee profitability, quality, and schedule performance of the engineering team.
• Coordinate timely completion of multiple substations projects across teams.
• Assign projects based on requirements and personnel availability.
• Coordinate with construction and procurement to meet milestones and budgets.
• Ensure compliance with NEC, NESC, IEEE, and ANSI standards.
• Travel as required for project needs.
