Job summary

Dashiell is seeking a Project Manager in the Salt Lake City area to lead turnkey construction of high voltage substations and transmission lines. You will oversee scope, schedule, safety, quality and budgets across multiple project teams.

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering and 10 years of relevant experience are required; professional registration is preferred. Occasional travel and strong leadership are essential.

• Understanding of substations and transmission systems.
• Financial aspects of project control.
• Interpersonal skills, technical knowledge, organizational ability and leadership talent.
• MS Office proficiency (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Team-oriented and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for the cost, schedule, safety, quality and completion of construction projects.
• Coordinate work with Purchasing to ensure material expediting and delivery for construction.
• Manage multiple project teams.
• Prepare and maintain cash flows, monthly billing, and change orders for assigned projects.
• Prepare and maintain monthly construction progress reports and re-projections.
• Resolve inter-group conflicts and delays to meet goals.
• Travel to project sites as required (out of town).
• Other duties as required.
