Job summary

Hanwha Qcells USA Corp (QcellsUSA) is seeking a Senior HV/BESS Estimator to drive cost estimates for utility-scale solar, HV substations and BESS projects. You will lead bids, review subcontractor proposals, and develop compelling cost models to support turnkey EPC activities.

This remote role requires up to 25% travel, collaboration with engineering, project management and procurement teams, and rigorous use of estimation tools such as HCSS HeavyBid, Procore and Smartsheet.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or relevant certificate.
• 5+ years estimating and project management experience, with at least 3 years in utility-scale solar, HV, and BESS projects.
• Willingness to travel domestically and up to 25%.
• Experience with EPC contracting and cost estimation practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead estimation activities and coordinate with project managers and engineers.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for HV Substations and BESS.
• Review subcontractor bids and develop resource plans.
• Develop risk mitigation strategies and cost-optimization opportunities.
• Prepare bids and support sales teams with pricing strategies.
