Job summary

Qcells USA Corp. is seeking a HV/BESS Estimator to join the Estimation Department. This remote role supports utility-scale solar EPC efforts nationwide, coordinating with project teams and suppliers to deliver firm bid documents and accurate cost estimates for HV substations and BESS.

You will leverage estimating software, develop cost models, and ensure competitive pricing while managing risk and resource planning. Up to 25% travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, and computer fluency are needed.
• Experience in cost estimation for HV/BESS projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead detailed cost estimates for HV substations and BESS for utility-scale solar projects.
• Review specs and drawings to determine scope and requirements.
• Prepare bids and risk analyses, and collaborate with PMs, engineers, and BD teams.
