Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant certificate required.
• 5+ years estimating experience in utility-scale projects (solar/BESS).
• Strong EPC contracting and electrical systems knowledge.
• Proficiency with cost estimating software such as HCSS HeavyBid.
• Excellent written and oral communication; travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost estimation for HV substation and BESS projects.
• Review subcontractor bids and quotations.
• Develop cost models and take-offs; manage bid preparations.
• Collaborate with project managers to plan resources and schedules.
• Identify risks and implement contingency plans.
• Ensure QA on estimates and compliance with standards.
