Role Overview

The Senior Human Resources Generalist will address HR concerns within their branch, focusing on supporting human capital, mitigating risks, and enhancing operational efficiencies. This role aims to shift HR from a reactive to a proactive, collaborative, and solution-oriented team, ultimately making the branch management more effective and fostering a better work environment.

Position Details

This is an onsite position.

Responsibilities

1. Partner with branch leadership to support and address site-specific initiatives and challenges.
2. Support daily HR operations, including processing status changes, tracking attendance, and resolving Kronos issues.
3. Handle lower-grade employee relations matters such as attendance, performance, and conduct, ensuring thorough documentation.
4. Assist in conducting investigations for higher-grade HR issues.
5. Serve as a point of contact for employee HR concerns, providing guidance on payroll, health plans, and policies.
6. Coordinate with the Recruitment Team and Branch Ambassadors to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
7. Help compile and analyze People Metrics like turnover, safety, and issues, collaborating with regional management to develop solutions.
8. Identify training needs in areas such as leadership, safety, and employee relations.
9. Assist in implementing new HR policies, procedures, and protocols.

Minimum Qualifications

• BA/BS in HR or related experience.
• 2-3 years of HR experience.
• Knowledge of HR areas such as Total Rewards and Talent Management.
• Experience with employee relations and understanding of employment laws.
• Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and preferably UltiPro & Kronos.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, exercise judgment, and travel locally.
