Job Description:

Summary:

*****Candidates for this role will need to be located around our Rogers (CT), Woodstock (CT), and Narragansett (RI) locations - as travel between the three sites will be required on occasion. *****

This role is responsible for performing Human Resource related duties on a professional level working closely with Human Resource management in supporting Human Resource functions. This role carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, recruitment/employment, benefits administration, affirmative action and employment law compliance.

Essential Functions:
  • Executes day-to-day human resources responsibilities, applying knowledge of policies and procedures in the following areas: Employee Relations, Compensation, Workplace Safety, Benefits, Reward Programs, Training and Recruiting.
  • Assists with the hiring process which includes writing job descriptions, recruitment, selection, onboarding, benefits sign-up and orientation.
  • Administers human resource policies and procedures. Assists with the development, implementation and maintenance of policies and procedures as required.
  • Assists in planning, development and implementation of training that supports company initiatives. Delivers new hire training (i.e. harassment, ethics) as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field. May consider equivalent work experience in lieu of degree
  • 4+ years Human Resources experience
  • Experience in all Human Resource areas (i.e. employment laws, compensation, benefits, workers compensation, training, employee relations, etc.)
  • Human Resources Information Systems experience
