Job summary

US AMR-Jones Lang LaSalle Americas, Inc. is seeking an experienced Health, Safety, Security & Environment Manager for on-site management in the South Barrington, IL area.

The role focuses on HSSE program execution, training, and regulatory compliance across accounts with up to 30% travel. Key responsibilities include leading HSSE culture development, maintaining training matrices, and coordinating incident investigations while ensuring alignment with client MSAs/SOWs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in safety management, industrial hygiene, environmental science, or relevant field.
• 5+ years of HSSE experience in high hazard/risk environments.
• Practical working knowledge of Health and Safety tools and techniques, ideally within a Facilities Management environment.
• Knowledge and understanding of relevant standards, legislation, codes of practice, guidance and operating procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel for up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Become the primary point of contact for HSSE requirements and activities.
• Lead development and refinement of HSSE culture and training programs on the account.
• Provide technical expertise, strategic leadership, and support on HSSE regulatory compliance issues.
• Maintain account HSSE procedures, documentation and records.
• Support ISO 45001 & 14001 management system certification activities.
• Collaborate with teams to share best practices across accounts.
