Job summary

You will drive a proactive safety culture, participate in investigations, inspections, and compliance with HSSE standards, and collaborate with contractors and client stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety and health, environmental science, or equivalent.
• 3+ years of HSSE compliance program experience in facility operations.
• Knowledge of safety management systems, regulatory compliance, auditing, and metrics.
• Excellent communication, organizational and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and take initiative.
• Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills with risk assessment.

Responsibilities

• Identify workplace hazards and recommend practical safety controls to reduce operational risk.
• Conduct safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments; assist with incident investigations.
• Provide HSSE guidance to facility management teams, technicians, project managers, and contractors.
• Review and approve safety plans, permits, and job hazard analyses for high-risk activities.
• Deliver health and safety training programs and reinforce safe work practices.
• Monitor safety observations to ensure timely follow-up actions and improvements.
• Analyze HSSE performance data to identify trends and inform reporting and dashboards.
• Coordinate responses to IAQ, mold, and environmental events and manage permits.
