Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated (JLL) is seeking an HSSE Manager to lead on-site safety program management across an account. The role focuses on compliance, training, incident response, and hazard prevention, with travel up to 30%.

You will partner with the HSSE Life Sciences team to share best practices and support ISO certifications. Open to candidates based in Chicago, IL or Charlotte, NC with on-site responsibilities at Barrington, IL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety management, industrial hygiene, environmental science, or related field.
• 5+ years HSSE experience in high hazard environments.
• Working knowledge of Health and Safety tools and techniques in facilities management.
• Knowledge of relevant standards and regulations; strong presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for HSSE requirements.
• Communicate HSSE needs and results to leadership.
• Lead development of HSSE culture and training programs.
• Provide technical expertise on regulatory compliance issues.
• Maintain account HSSE procedures and records.
• Support ISO 45001 & 14001 certification activities.
• Support investigations of serious safety events and root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with HSSE Life Sciences team and share best practices.
• Travel up to 30% as needed.
