Job summary

Ramboll Americas seeks a Senior HSEQ leader to oversee safety, health, environment, and quality across a nationwide EPC/EPCM project portfolio. You will align governance, manage high-risk activities, and collaborate with project teams and clients to raise safety performance.

The role requires extensive field experience, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to drive standards across multiple projects while traveling to sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive on-site HSEQ leadership experience with substantial large-scale EPC/EPCM project exposure.
• Strong background supporting multi-contractor, high-risk industrial construction environments.
• Ability to travel regularly to project locations and engage effectively with field teams, project leadership, clients, and contractors.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio-wide HSEQ approach enabling consistent standards, scalable processes, and project-specific execution across all EPC/EPCM projects.
• Serve as primary HSEQ advisor to Project Directors and EPC/EPCM leadership teams.
• Drive adoption of Ramboll’s HSEQ program and translate its expectations into practical project-level behaviours and controls.
• Provide governance and assurance over risk management processes including hazard identification and site controls.
• Review and challenge effectiveness of controls for high-risk activities and ensure lessons learned are embedded across projects.
