Job summary

ePlus is seeking a Senior HRIS Business Analyst to partner with HR, Payroll, Talent, and IT to optimize HR technology and processes. You will manage requirements from discovery through production, perform QA, and document improvements to enhance automation and reporting across HRIS modules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in business analysis, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead analyst role.
• Experience with UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) – hands-on configuration, support, and process optimization across HRIS modules.
• Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) – experience supporting, configuring, or optimizing recruiting workflows with a modern ATS like Greenhouse or similar.
• Led cross-functional initiatives with significant business impact.
• Strong proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Power Query), Power BI, or Tableau.
• Proficient in configuring enterprise applications to meet business requirements, with the ability to tailor workflows, user interfaces, and business rules without compromising system integrity.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven mindset and the ability to interpret complex information, identify root causes, and recommend effective solutions.
• Deep understanding of user experiences principles and a strong ability to translate customer needs into technical requirements and process enhancements.
• Skilled in identifying potential project and operational risks, evaluating their impact, and proactively recommending mitigation strategies.

Responsibilities

• SDLC Project Management – Manage requirements through delivery and production rollout; document risks.
• Software Analysis – Define requirements and evaluate current functions to identify improvements.
• Software Review and Testing – QA and test plan execution prior to hand-off.
• Support – Maintain and document software functionality and releases.
• Documentation – Produce user/operational documentation and release notes.
• Change Management – Align with change processes; coordinate defect resolution and releases.
• Communication – Elicit requirements and keep stakeholders informed throughout.
• Process Improvement – automate and standardize HR processes.
• Partnership – Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze and document business needs.
