Job summary

Deepgram is hiring a Senior HR Business Partner to support a remote-first organization. This inaugural HRBP will partner with leaders across the company on employee relations, performance management, and scalable people practices.

Reporting to the Head of People, you will collaborate with People Ops, Legal, Finance, and Recruiting to ensure compliant, effective programs. Occasional travel to offsites may be required.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of HR experience in high-growth or complex environments.
• Strong business judgment and quick context understanding.
• Deep experience in employee relations and performance management.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary partner to leaders on people-related risks, decisions, and trade-offs.
• Translate company strategy into scalable people practices and processes.
• Support performance management, goal-setting, and manager capability building.
• Assist with team structure, talent and succession planning, and organizational change.
• Lead offboarding processes and coordinate with Finance on separations.
• Oversee compensation cycles and respond to manager/employee questions with sound judgment.
• Develop and refine People processes, templates, and manager resources.
