Job summary

Deepgram is seeking a Senior Human Resources Business Partner to support a fast-growing, remote-first team. This inaugural HRBP will partner with leaders and staff to drive employee relations, performance management, and scalable people practices across the company.

Reporting to the Head of People, you will collaborate with Legal, Finance, Recruiting, and People Ops to ensure compliant, effective programs. Occasional travel to offsites is expected.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years HR experience, including HRBP roles in high-growth environments.
• Strong business judgment with ability to guide leaders through tough trade-offs.
• Deep experience in employee relations, performance management and coaching.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, remote-first environment with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Act as a primary partner to leaders on people-related risks, decisions, and trade-offs.
• Translate company strategy into scalable people practices and policies.
• Support performance management, goal-setting, feedback cycles, and manager capability building.
• Lead compensation discussions, including merit and promotion rounds, with appropriate governance.
• Ensure compliance across federal, state, local, and international employment laws.
