Job summary

Ash Grove Cement Company seeks an experienced Senior HR Business Partner to provide strategic and hands-on HR support for multiple cement plant locations across the US and Canada.

The role serves as a trusted advisor to site leadership, handling employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, policy compliance, and people analytics, with on-site presence twice weekly at the Durkee, OR plant location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with plant and operations leaders to deliver strategic HR programs across sites.
• Mentor HR Business Partners and drive consistent HR service delivery.
• Oversee employee and labor relations, including terminations and disciplinary actions.
• Support union contract negotiations and grievances under guidance.
• Coordinate recruiting, onboarding, and new hire integration across plants.
• Analyze workforce metrics and propose leadership actions.
