Job summary

Ash Grove Cement is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to provide strategic and operational HR support across multiple US plant locations, including labor relations, talent management, and performance processes. The role functions as a trusted advisor to site leadership and mentors HR staff while ensuring policy compliance and data-driven decisions.

This position requires on-site presence twice weekly at the Durkee, OR plant, with a focus on safety, union interactions, recruitment, onboarding,

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 year / bachelor's degree in HR, business administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of HR experience.
• Ability to work onsite in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of all employee information.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational HR support for assigned locations.
• Advise site leadership on employee and labor relations, talent acquisition, and performance management.
• Mentor HR Business Partners across sites to ensure consistent HR delivery.
• Support union contract negotiations and EEOC/compliance activities.
• Coordinate onboarding, training, and HR program initiatives.
• Analyze workforce metrics and propose data-driven actions.
