Job summary

Runway is seeking a Senior/Staff HR Business Partner to work with the company’s leaders on how they grow, organize and perform. You’ll advise managers and executives on people decisions, lead org design and talent programs, unblock teams so they can move faster and turn what you see across the business into HR priorities.

You’ll partner with leaders on org design, headcount planning, team structure and leveling, and coach managers on performance, feedback and career development.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of HR experience, including at least four as an HR Business Partner supporting fast growing teams
• Strong employee relations experience with sound judgment and discretion
• Experience advising senior leaders and earning their trust
• Proven ability to lead org design and talent programs
• Comfort operating independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment

Responsibilities

• Advise managers and executives on people decisions and performance
• Lead org design, headcount planning, team structure and leveling
• Coach managers on performance, feedback and career development
• Own complex employee relations cases from intake to resolution
• Partner with Compensation and Talent Acquisition on offers and market adjustments
• Use headcount, attrition, engagement and performance data to spot risks and take action
• Design and roll out training and engagement programs for Runway teams
• Step in wherever the team needs it
