Job summary

Thumbtack is seeking a Senior HRBP with a talent for operations and AI integration to partner with the HRBP team across North America. You will convert high-impact opportunities into AI-enabled workflows, such as an exit interview synthesizer or engagement action planner, spanning client-facing HRBP support, AI/ops, and employee relations.

You will embed with the HRBP team, collaborate with senior stakeholders, and lead rollout, training, and metrics for AI tools, reporting to the Director of HR

Qualifications

• 10+ years of HR experience with HRBP expertise and using AI/automation to improve work.
• Comfort experimenting with AI tools and turning ideas into working solutions.
• Broad HR knowledge including performance, risk management, coaching, engagement, retention, workforce planning, employee relations.
• Track record delivering in ambiguous environments with senior stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills and data literacy.

Responsibilities

• Partner with client groups as a trusted advisor to managers and employees across the full employee lifecycle.
• Flag legal and compliance risks in day-to-day people management.
• Build AI-powered HRBP workflows and lead rollout, training, and success metrics.
• Serve as the COE connector, building templates, communications, and enablement materials.
• Cover employee relations work during absences and support PIP processes.
• Build and own AI tools that automate HRBP work.
• Own HRBP’s North America emergency response playbook.
