Job summary

Arizona State University is seeking an experienced HR Services Specialist Sr. to provide comprehensive HR support for Student Connection and Community (SCC) across multiple programs and locations.

You will work with SCC leadership, EOSS partners, and OHR to ensure timely, consistent HR practices across the unit. The role emphasizes recruitment, staffing, onboarding, payroll, benefits, and compliance, enabling effective employee lifecycle management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3 years of experience in HR or related field, or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Experience handling recruitments, staffing, onboarding, payroll issues, and HR policy guidance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate full-cycle recruitment processes for assigned SCC positions.
• Guide hiring managers through university recruitment and selection processes, including requisitions, search processes, interviews and hiring documentation.
• Coordinate onboarding activities and resources for successful transitions into SCC.
• Process HR transactions including promotions, reassignments, salary changes, and terminations.
• Support payroll reconciliation and respond to payroll questions and discrepancies.
• Maintain personnel documentation and records in accordance with university requirements.
• Provide HR guidance on policies, systems, and available resources to SCC leadership and staff.
