Job summary

HORIBA is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager for its Austin, TX office. You will lead culture, engagement, talent acquisition and HR operations to support a growing team.

The role requires 10+ years in HR, strong leadership, and expertise in regulatory compliance. You will partner with leadership to implement HR strategies, manage onboarding, performance, and employee relations, while educating staff on benefits and policies.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service, communication, organizational, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
• High level of integrity and confidentiality with initiative.
• Proven leadership and ability to develop HR strategies that drive business results.
• Knowledge of local, state and federal regulations and HR best practices.
• 10+ years of progressively responsible generalist HR experience including at least five years of on-site HR management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and ADP Workforce Now HRIS.
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or a related field; master’s degree and HR certification a plus.
• Some domestic travel will be required.

Responsibilities

• Culture and Engagement: Educate employees on HORIBA’s philosophy, culture, policies and practices, fostering a work environment with open communications.
• Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with leaders to understand objectives and organizational challenges to align HR strategies.
• Employee Development: Establish succession planning and training needs analysis, sourcing, delivering training programs.
• Talent Acquisition: Oversee full recruitment cycle from sourcing to onboarding.
• Performance Management: Support managers to set goals and develop improvement plans.
• Employee Relations: Facilitate conflict resolution and conduct investigations.
• HR Policies and Compliance: Ensure policies are up-to-date and compliant with regulations.
• Compensation and Benefits: Administer compensation processes and educate employees on health insurance and benefits.
