Job summary

HORIBA Instruments Incorporated in Austin, TX seeks a Human Resources Manager to lead culture, workforce development and strategic HR initiatives. You will partner with executives to align HR strategies with business goals, oversee recruitment, performance management, and employee relations, and guide compensation and benefits programs.

The role requires 10+ years of HR experience, at least five years on-site, a Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field (Master’s and HR certification a plus), and

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressively responsible generalist human resources experience including at least five years of on-site HR management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and ADP Workforce Now HRIS.
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or a related field; master’s degree and HR certification a plus.
• Some domestic travel will be required.

Responsibilities

• Culture and Engagement: Educate employees on HORIBA’s philosophy, culture, policies and practices, fostering a work environment that encourages and provides for open and productive communications.
• Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with business leaders to understand objectives and organizational challenges to develop supportive HR strategies.
• Employee Development: Establish succession planning and training needs analysis to develop and deliver training programs.
• Talent Acquisition: Oversee full recruitment cycle of sourcing, screening, selection and onboarding new team members.
• Performance Management: Help managers set goals and develop coaching plans to improve performance.
• Employee Relations: Facilitate conflict resolution and investigations of complaints.
• HR Policies and Compliance: Ensure policies comply with local, state and federal regulations; provide guidance on interpretation.
• Compensation and Benefits: Administer compensation processes and educate employees about health insurance and other programs.
