Job summary

Ultimate Staffing is seeking an experienced HR Operations & Compliance professional to ensure accurate HR administrative operations across onboarding, offboarding, and recordkeeping. You will manage benefits and leave matters, oversee compliance and reporting, and resolve escalated inquiries by interpreting policy and precedent.

You will serve as a primary contact for affiliated company HR inquiries, coordinate with vendors, and lead process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of progressive Human Resources administrative experience required; 6 or more years preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of federal and California employment law.
• Advanced proficiency with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office.
• Demonstrated ability to train and guide Human Resources administrative staff.
• High degree of discretion, judgment, and professionalism in handling highly sensitive and confidential matters.
• Experience with benefits and leave administration.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy and compliance of HR administrative operations, including onboarding, offboarding, and recordkeeping.
• Coordinate complex benefits and leave matters with stakeholders and vendors.
• Oversee HR compliance and reporting, identify gaps, and drive resolution.
• Handle escalated employee and manager inquiries requiring policy interpretation.
• Be primary contact for affiliated company HR inquiries with documentation for leadership.
• Manage external partnerships to ensure service delivery aligns with HR objectives.
• Develop and refine HR templates, forms, SOPs, and policy implementation.
• Lead training program coordination across affiliated companies.
