Job summary

Dizario Search is seeking an experienced HR Manager for a 700+ employee, non-union aerospace manufacturing plant in the Salem, OR area. This hands-on leadership role oversees a small HR Generalist team and partners with site leadership to align HR strategy with operations.

The successful candidate will drive recruiting, retention, workforce planning, compensation, benefits, HRIS, and training while ensuring compliance with employment laws. Relocation assistance is available.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive HR leadership experience.
• Experience leading HR in a large manufacturing environment.
• SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP, SPHR, or PHR certification preferred.
• Spanish/English bilingual skills are a plus.
• Aerospace, metals, foundry, or other complex manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered

Responsibilities

• Lead the HR function for a 700+ employee manufacturing operation.
• Manage and coach a team of approximately three HR Generalists.
• Serve as strategic HR business partner to the General Manager and site leadership.
• Oversee recruiting, retention, workforce planning, and talent development.
• Oversee compensation, benefits, HRIS, time and attendance, and related HR processes.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Monitor HR metrics including turnover, headcount, engagement, and talent pipeline.
• Develop and implement HR processes that improve efficiency and employee experience.
• Partner with leadership to maintain competitive and equitable compensation practices.
