The position reports to site leadership and leads recruiting, employee relations, and HR programs to drive operational excellence in a manufacturing setting.

This is a highly visible leadership role focused on employee engagement, retention, leadership development, compliance, and organizational effectiveness.

What You'll Do

• Partner with site leadership to align HR strategies with business goals and operational priorities
• Lead recruiting, retention, employee engagement, and organizational development initiatives
• Advise supervisors and managers on employee relations, performance management, and employment practices
• Lead and develop the site HR team while supporting leadership development
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and oversee HR processes
• Monitor workforce metrics and drive continuous improvement in HR processes, retention, and organizational effectiveness

Required Qualifications

• Proven HR leadership experience in a manufacturing or operations environment
• Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR best practices
• Experience with employee relations, performance management, recruiting, and retention
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop an HR team
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality, sound judgment, and professionalism

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of progressive HR leadership experience
• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification
• Experience supporting a large employee population in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with HRIS, compensation, benefits, and organizational development
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills and a strong continuous improvement mindset
