Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in HR or related field.
• 5+ years of HR experience in manufacturing/industrial environments.
• Experience conducting workplace investigations and managing complex employee relations.
• Knowledge of ADA, FMLA, EEOC, wage and hour laws.
• Ability to influence leaders and handle difficult conversations.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Proficiency with HR systems and Microsoft Office; Workday preferred.
• SHRM certification preferred.
• Willingness to travel locally between facilities.
• Ability to work on the production floor in a heavy industrial setting.

Responsibilities

• Partner with plant leadership to provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, and policy interpretation.
• Conduct and support workplace investigations involving complaints, harassment, discrimination, and misconduct.
• Travel locally as needed to address employee relations concerns and conduct interviews.
• Coach supervisors and managers on performance management and conflict resolution.
• Maintain a visible HR presence on the production floor and build relationships with employees.
• Facilitate focus groups and listening sessions to identify workforce concerns and engagement opportunities.
• Provide guidance on ADA, FMLA, accommodations, leave administration, and workplace conduct.
• Identify trends and risks and propose proactive solutions to improve culture and retention.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Safety, Quality, and HR on investigations and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
• Support recruiting, onboarding, performance reviews, and other HR processes as needed.
