Default Brand seeks a Senior HR Generalist to manage a broad range of HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, compliance and policy enforcement in a fast-paced environment in Oxford, MS. The role reports to the COO and collaborates with the HR Administrator and managers.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of experience across HR functions, a bachelor’s degree in HR or related field, and professional certifications such as SHRM-CP or PHR are preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with HRIS systems and data management.
• Ability to manage multiple HR functions independently.

Responsabilités

• Act as HR contact for employees and managers, handling routine tasks and complex issues.
• Guide accounting and HR administrator on HR matters.
• Involved in hiring processes: postings, screenings, interviews, and offer coordination via HRIS.
• Oversee onboarding and offboarding including documentation, orientation, and exit interviews.
• Participate in benefits administration and documentation.
• Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies and employment laws.
• Support performance management via annual employee performance reviews.
• Handle employee relations and workplace concerns.
