NWL Inc., recently acquired by American Superconductor, is seeking a Senior HR Generalist to oversee benefits, payroll, and HR programs in our New Jersey manufacturing operations. This role ensures compliance with employment laws and internal controls while partnering with management on employee relations and policy development.

Responsibilities include payroll processing, 401(k) administration, onboarding, recruitment support, and HR metrics reporting.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience as an HR Generalist.
• Experience processing payroll and administering employee benefits and retirement plans.
• Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.
• Working knowledge of payroll practices and internal controls.

Aufgaben

• Administer benefit programs, retirement plans, and related employee inquiries.
• Process payroll and payroll reconciliations while ensuring policy compliance.
• Administer the Company’s 401(k) plan incl. enrollments, changes, loans and distributions.
• Support recruitment: sourcing, screening, interviewing and hiring.
• Conduct onboarding and assist training and development initiatives.
• Provide guidance to employees/managers on HR matters and resolve issues.
• Promote HR programs to improve efficiency and engagement.
• Assist in policy development and communication of procedures.
• Support performance management, evaluations and development planning.
• Collect and report HR metrics to support business needs and compliance.
• Maintain confidential records in HRIS and personnel files.
