Job summary

NYK Group Americas Inc. in Secaucus, NJ seeks an HR Generalist to support day-to-day HR operations, including payroll, benefits, onboarding, and employee relations. You will partner with HR Managers and Directors to administer programs, maintain confidential records, and ensure compliance across the employee lifecycle.

The role requires 2–4 years HR experience, a Bachelor's degree, and proficiency with MS Office. On-site role with regional/global HR collaboration opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field.
• 2–4 years HR experience.
• Working knowledge of core HR processes.
• Proficiency in MS Office and HR systems for reporting.
• Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage onboarding, I-9, changes, leave and offboarding.
• Prepare HR letters and maintain HRIS transactions.
• Assist payroll and benefits changes; coordinate with vendors.
• Support recruiting and onboarding activities.
• Assist audits, reporting and HR projects as assigned.
