Vaco in Birmingham, AL is seeking a Senior HR Generalist to support a broad range of HR functions onsite. The role covers employee relations, policy administration, performance management, compliance, benefits, and daily HR operations.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of HR experience, a bachelor’s degree, strong knowledge of employment laws, HRIS and payroll familiarity, and the ability to balance strategic work with hands-on execution.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of HR experience in a generalist or HRBP role.
• Experience handling employee relations and policy interpretation.
• Knowledge of employment laws and compliance requirements.
• Experience administering HR policies, benefits, and leave programs.
• Comfort with HR data, records, and confidentiality.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as primary contact for employee relations matters and policy interpretation.
• Partner with managers on performance issues and corrective actions.
• Administer and maintain HR policies, handbooks, and documentation.
• Support performance management processes and employee development initiatives.
• Oversee onboarding/offboarding and ensure consistent employee experience.
• Assist with benefits administration and open enrollment.
• Maintain HRIS data and coordinate with payroll.
• Ensure compliance with laws and audits, and coordinate leave programs.
• Analyze HR data and prepare turnover/engagement reports.
• Identify process improvements in HR operations.
• Support employee engagement initiatives and internal communications.
• Contribute to HR projects and organizational changes.
