Job summary

Wind Creek Chicago Southland in Illinois seeks a Senior Director of Human Resources to lead Recruitment, Employee Relations and Training across the property. You will direct HR programs aligning with the organization's mission and values while advising leadership on federal/state employment laws.

You will manage HR operations, ensure compliant hiring, employee investigations, performance management, and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field; 5+ years in a Director HR role (required) or 7+ years in a Director HR role (required).
• Seven years of director-level HR experience in a casino with oversight of multiple HR functions.
• Experience creating and implementing HR strategies.
• Excellent public speaking skills.
• SPHR/PHR certification (or enrolled/scheduled) preferred.
• Experience with Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Great Plains.
• Must pass a skills test with 70%.
• Ability to travel and work odd hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must possess an Occupational License under the Illinois Gaming Act.
