Pavilion Management Company in Dayton, OH is seeking an HR Director to lead the human resources function and ensure compliance with applicable laws. This role directs policy development, staffing, payroll, benefits administration and employee relations, while safeguarding sensitive information and maintaining accurate records.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with senior leaders to implement programs, oversee staff development, and foster a supportive, high-performance work environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration or related field.
• Minimum three years of HR management experience.
• Knowledgeable of employment laws and regulations in post-acute care settings.

Responsabilités

• Leads, directs and coordinates HR policies and activities in compliance with federal, state and local standards.
• Maintains job descriptions and performance evaluations for staff positions.
• Reviews requests for new or replacement personnel and arranges interviews.
• Checks applications and references and arranges interviews as required.
• Maintains applications and records for personnel eligible to work in the facility.
• Maintains confidentiality of employee information and adheres to Privacy Act policies.
• Verifies employee right to work and files documentation in personnel records.
• Keeps an adequate personnel filing system and ensures compliance with employment practices.
• Ensures compliance with wages, overtime, hours and workers’ compensation regulations.
• Oversees hiring/discharge policies and orientations for new personnel.
• Keeps department directors informed of personnel changes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
