Job summary

Concordance Healthcare Solutions LLC is seeking a Human Resources Director in Ohio to lead HR strategy, employee relations, and compliance across the organization. You will guide leave administration, onboarding/offboarding, policy development, and strategic workforce engagement while partnering with executives and department heads.

You will oversee investigations, performance management, payroll, and benefits, ensuring regulatory compliance and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5-10 years of progressive HR experience.
• Strong knowledge of FMLA, ADA, HIPAA, COBRA, ERISA, and other employment laws.
• Proven ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with HRIS and payroll systems.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively and influence at all levels.
• Willing to travel to all Concordance locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the HR function aligned with Concordance strategic objectives.
• Provide coaching and guidance to managers and employees on HR matters.
• Oversee leave programs including FMLA, ADA, disability programs and USERRA.
• Develop and update HR policies to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Create standard operating procedures for HR functions and ensure data integrity.
• Support performance management, employee engagement, and talent development.
• Oversee employee relations investigations and apply policy-based resolutions.
• Deliver training on HR topics and compliance requirements.
• Assist with audits, reporting, and internal metrics.
• Back up Workers' Compensation and Unemployment Insurance management.
• Build relationships with stakeholders and participate in strategic planning.
• Lead HR projects to improve efficiency and compliance.
