Job summary

Concordance Healthcare Solutions, LLC seeks a Human Resources Director in Ohio to provide strategic direction for HR functions, including employee relations, leave management, compliance, and workforce engagement. You will partner with executives and managers to build a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, while upholding regulatory requirements.

This leadership role leads investigations, oversees payroll and benefits, and guides onboarding and offboarding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or related field; equivalent combination accepted.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 5–10 years of progressive HR experience.
• Strong knowledge of FMLA, ADA, HIPAA, COBRA, ERISA and related employment laws.
• Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the HR function aligning goals with Concordance objectives.
• Advise managers on performance, conflict resolution, and compliance.
• Oversee leave programs (FMLA, ADA, disability) and payroll interactions.
• Develop and update HR policies; monitor legal developments.
• Create SOPs for HR processes and ensure data integrity.
• Support performance management, engagement, and talent development.
• Investigate employee relations issues and administer resolutions.
• Deliver training on HR topics and new policies.
• Assist with audits, compliance reporting, and internal metrics.
• Back up Workers' Comp and Unemployment Insurance administration.
• Engage with stakeholders and participate in strategic planning.
