Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Senior Associate, Horizontal HR Business Partner to support the Global Payments HRBP team. The role focuses on leading HR processes, coordinating talent and performance activities, and delivering client-facing HR support for multiple groups.

You will design communications, prepare data reports, run key meetings, and partner with Talent and Performance Management to calendar activities. Based in McLean, VA with a salary range and incentives.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in human resources.
• 1+ year of client facing experience or consulting experience.
• 1+ year of experience in project or process management.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and report on talent data for HR Business Partners and their client groups to advance talent strategies.
• Manage process communications and create templates for local core HR process communications.
• Support client-facing HR Business Partners with inquiries and requests (remote work, compensation, promotions, large org changes).
• Lead weekly/ monthly partner and Performance Management Champion meetings.
• Partner to design and execute annual talent and performance calendars.
• Develop walk-around decks, communications, and training materials for managers and associates.
• Prepare consolidated summaries for business leaders on talent conversations outcomes.
• Review survey data and develop insights with HR Business Partners.
• Manage project work-streams and maintain HR calendars.
• Provide feedback to improve programs and ensure alignment with HR teams.
