Capital One in McLean, VA is seeking a Manager, HR Business Partner to drive strategic people initiatives for Global Payment Network Risk & Advisory and Emerging B2B Risk & Advisory. You will partner with leaders to align HR programs with business goals and lead workforce planning in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate brings 6+ years of client-facing or consulting experience in HR, strong relationship-building, and the ability to influence effectively.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
• At least 4 years of client-facing experience or at least 4 years of consulting experience or a combination.
• At least 4 years of experience in Human Resources.
• Bachelor’s Degree or military experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients, other HRBPs, and HR partner groups to effectively execute on people strategy, HR processes, and reporting.
• Partner with clients to build effective relationships, effectively manage stakeholders, and understand business imperatives to effectively execute on HR solutions that are aligned to the business needs.
• Consult with associates, managers, and HR partners who require assistance on HR-related issues.
• Coach people managers on leadership, org design, performance concerns.
• Responsible for providing strategic consulting and workforce planning to client groups within the designated client group and delivering an HR strategy aligned with business needs.
• Support the planning and delivery of core HR processes ranging from performance & talent management, leadership development, to change management and organizational design (including spans and layers work).
• Support senior leaders on key areas such as building an inclusive and diverse team, culture of belonging, and acting as a sounding board for associates to encourage cross pollination and high performance.
