The City of Shreveport, LA is seeking an experienced HR professional to own reporting, HR data integrity, and HR systems supporting time-sensitive personnel processes.

You will maintain HR data, run reports, coordinate with timekeepers, assist with job listings, policies, examinations, and ensure compliance with employment laws. You will collaborate with city staff and officials to support HR workflows.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or related field.
• Six (6) years or more of professional experience in human resources administration.
• Experience with HR information systems and applicant tracking systems is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain office staff leave reports and related files.
• Collect, input, and maintain extensive human resources data.
• Run monthly HR information system reports.
• Assist with monitoring and maintaining applications and an applicant tracking system.
• Coordinate extensively with timekeepers and field staff to support HR workflows.
• Assist with updating weekly job listings.
• Support HR policies and administrative transactions, including classification, pay, recruiting, performance rating, and unemployment insurance.
• Interpret human resources procedures for city officials, employees, and applicants.
• May assist with recommendations related to staffing, training, salary increases, employment grievances, and other matters.
• Research, develop, and administer examinations.
• Interpret and help ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws.
• May serve as Staff Assistant to the Human Resources Director.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Formação

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field from an accredited college or university, or equivalent years of experience
