Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, public administration, or a related field.
• 5 years of administrative experience, with at least 1 year focused on HR functions.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and long-term projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Discretion handling confidential information with sound judgment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and service-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and process Workday transactions for faculty, staff, students, and affiliates.
• Monitor HR processes from start to finish, flag issues or delays as needed.
• Serve as Timekeeper, review employee timesheets for policy alignment.
• Track payroll deadlines and coordinate with employees and managers.
• Provide guidance on HR policies, benefits, leave, pay, and employment practices.
• Support recruitment lifecycle, postings, onboarding, and immigration filings.
• Collaborate with CNS HR and central offices to implement policy guidance.
• Maintain immigration deadline tracking and report status weekly.
