Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, public administration, or a related field.
• Five years of experience in human resources functions.
• Demonstrated knowledge of relevant state and federal employment laws.

• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to adapt to the needs of the organization and employees.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Responsibilities

• Staffing projections, recruitment strategies, applicant tracking, compensation analysis, and managing assignments for students, staff, and affiliates.
• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes within policy and best practices.
• Review recruitment efforts and compensation change requests and provide analyses to Cockrell Leadership.
• Provide strategic HR guidance with adherence to university policies and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee timekeeping, leave management, and affiliate program administration.
• Train and support HR Coordinators and Liaisons, and participate in special projects.
