Job summary

The George Washington University is seeking a Senior HR Associate to support employee lifecycle and recruitment actions within the HR Management & Development team. The role partners with HR Managers/Directors to intake and initiate actions, and collaborates with HR teams to ensure accurate, timely processing.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree (or Master’s) with relevant experience, and a preference for PHR/SPHR/SHRM credentials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization plus 1 year of relevant experience, or, a Master’s degree in a relevant area of study.
• Degree must be conferred by the start date of the position.
• Degree requirements may be substituted with an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• PHR , SPHR , SHRM -CP or SHRM - SCP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with HR Managers and Directors to intake and initiate employee lifecycle and recruitment actions.
• Collaborate with other HR teams to execute clean actions and exchange feedback.
• Contribute to the continual development and improvement of support resources.
• Serve as the floaters for Remedy Tickets or own specific transactional items as needed.
