The City of Austin seeks a Senior Human Resources Advisor to serve as the primary contact for employee relations within the Aviation Employee Relations Office. You will provide expert guidance on performance, disciplinary matters, and complex investigations.

You will collaborate with Aviation and City of Austin staff, conduct investigations and mediations, train managers, and help develop policies. This role requires travel to multiple sites; a valid driving record may be verified as part of the

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in related field and four years of HR experience.
• One additional year of experience may substitute for the education up to the maximum of four years.
• Experience in employee relations, investigations, grievances.
• Willingness to travel to multiple work locations.
• Knowledge of employment laws and city policies.

• Provide guidance to management on HR issues and decisions.
• Lead investigations on harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and other conduct.
• Conduct mediations and resolve workplace conflicts.
• Develop and maintain HR program documentation and reporting.
• Train managers on HR topics and procedures.
• Monitor compliance with policies and regulations.
