Job summary

The City of Austin is seeking a Human Resources Advisor Senior to partner with senior leaders on HR strategy and program delivery. You will analyze complex HR issues, advise management, monitor compliance, and drive improvements across departments within the AUS context.

Responsibilities include training managers, developing reporting, and maintaining HR data. The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 4 years HR experience; travel to multiple sites is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 4 years of HR experience.
• One additional year of experience may substitute for education.
• Experience with HR programs and policy guidance.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with senior leaders on HR program design, implementation, and administration.
• Advises management on complex HR issues and regulatory compliance.
• Develops and maintains management reporting to support decision making.
• Provides training to managers and supervisors on HR topics and procedures.
