City of Austin’s Facilities Management team seeks a Human Resources Advisor Senior to influence workplace culture, handle employee relations, and partner with leaders on HR issues. You’ll conduct investigations and ensure a compliant, respectful work environment.

The role requires strategic advisory support, data-driven decision-making, and the ability to navigate complex HR matters across departments. On-site work with a comprehensive benefits package is provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with four years of HR experience.
• One additional year of HR experience may substitute for the education requirement.
• Experience conducting workplace investigations and advising supervisors is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Collaborates with senior leaders to analyze, implement, and administer HR programs.
• Resolves complex HR issues and monitors actions until resolution.
• Provides training to managers on HR topics and procedures.
• Gathers and analyzes data, maintains management reporting to support decisions.
• Maintains compliance with policies, laws, and program objectives.
• Leads or mentors others as needed.
