Job summary

Slate Creek RHF Housing, Inc. in Effingham, IL is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support operations, leasing, and regulatory compliance for a HUD-assisted senior housing community.

The role requires organization, attention to detail, and strong communication skills to interact with residents, applicants, vendors, and RHF corporate teams while ensuring LIHTC/HUD compliance and efficient daily operations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of office or administrative experience preferred.
• Property management or HUD experience strongly preferred.
• Experience in affordable or senior housing is a plus.
• Proficiency in RealPage OneSite, Word, Excel desired.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily operations and administrative support, including routing messages and maintaining files.
• Process LIHTC certifications and annual recertifications and ensure HUD compliance.
• Assist leasing activities, process applications, coordinate move-ins/move-outs and occupancy records.
• Serve as primary contact for residents and applicants with professionalism and empathy.
• Track delinquencies, assist with rent collection and respond to resident concerns promptly.
