Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality or related field required or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years hotel experience.
• Minimum of 2 years management experience, with at least 1 year in Hospitality Management.

Responsibilities

• Interviews, selects & trains associates.
• Motivates staff through positive reinforcement and leading by example.
• Provides input during the preparation of the annual budget.
• Attends required meetings and training.
• Conducts departmental and other required meetings.
• Ensures back-up/emergency procedures are in place.
• Ensures policies and procedures are adhered to.
• Implements Baywood brand promotional programs and procedures.
• Maintains a professional image of staff at all times.
• Monitors cleanliness and neatness of departments.
• Monitors inventory of supplies and places orders.
• Communicates with other departments to promote seamless operations.
• Ensures equipment is maintained and inspected.
• Leads department meetings and uses logs and memos for communication.
• Administers disciplinary action and performance appraisals.
• Prepares weekly schedule and monitors payroll within budget.
