Job summary

GetHired, Inc. seeks a Housekeeping Manager to oversee daily operations of the housekeeping department in a hotel setting. You will lead and train staff, manage the budget, ensure cleanliness standards, and coordinate with other departments for seamless guest service.

The role requires at least 2 years in hotel management, strong leadership, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and PMS systems. Fluency in English and Spanish is preferred to support diverse guests and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years hotel experience.
• Minimum 2 years management experience, including Hospitality Management.

Responsibilities

• Interviews, selects & trains associates.
• Motivates staff through positive reinforcement and leading by example.
• Provides input during the preparation of the annual budget.
• Attends required meetings and training.
• Ensures that established back-up procedures are in place.
• Ensures departmental policies and procedures are adhered to.
• Implements promotional programs and procedures.
• Maintains a professional image and demeanor for associates.
• Monitors cleanliness and neatness of departments.
• Monitors supply inventory and places orders timely.
• Communicates with other departments for seamless operation.
• Ensures equipment is maintained and inspected.
• Maintains communication within department via meetings and logs.
• Administers disciplinary action and performance appraisals.
• Prepares weekly schedule and monitors payroll within budget.
