Job summary

Baywood Hotels seeks an Hotel Executive Housekeeper-Entry Level Manager to oversee daily housekeeping operations and lead a 115-room property. You will hire, train, and supervise staff, ensuring Baywood standards and brand procedures are followed.

A warm, professional demeanor and strong guest relations are essential. The role requires 2+ years in hotel operations and at least 1 year in a supervisory role, with preferred Hilton OnQ experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years hotel experience.
• Minimum 1 year management experience.
• Bi-lingual (Spanish & English) preferred.
• Hilton OnQ experience required.
• Excellent public relations skills and warm, friendly attitude.

Responsibilities

• Interviews, selects & trains associates.
• Motivates staff through positive reinforcement and leading by example.
• Provides input during budget preparation.
• Attends required meetings and training.
• Conducts departmental and other required meetings.
• Ensures policies and procedures are adhered to.
• Implements Baywood promotions and brand procedures.
• Maintains professional image of associates at all times.
• Monitors cleanliness and inventory; places orders on time.
• Communicates with other departments for seamless operation.
• Ensures equipment maintenance and proper communication within department.
• Administers disciplinary action and performance appraisals.
• Prepares weekly schedule and monitors payroll within budget.
• Reviews checklists and conducts audits; manages expenses.
• Supervises staff time records and secures payroll documents.
• Participates in safety initiatives and company community events.
• Act as Manager on Duty as needed.
