Job summary

McKibbon Hospitality seeks a Chief Engineer to lead the hotel’s maintenance of the physical plant, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, pool, and life safety. The role reports to the General Manager and focuses on protecting asset value while delivering guest comfort.

You will supervise or coach maintenance team members, coordinate with contractors, and ensure safety compliance. Proven leadership in hotel maintenance and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 3 years minimum experience in a lead maintenance role.
• Previous hotel experience is highly desired.
• Ability to supervise and train maintenance team members.

Responsibilities

• Oversee repair and maintenance of hotel facilities including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, pool, life safety.
• Lead maintenance staff and coordinate with vendors and contractors.
• Monitor operations within budget and ensure safety and compliance.
