Job summary

McKibbon Hospitality is seeking a Hotel General Maintenance Technician to support the Chief Engineer. You will perform preventive maintenance, repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and pool areas, and ensure safe, well-kept property operations while engaging with guests and staff.

The role requires at least 3 years in maintenance, strong tool knowledge, and the ability to work independently in a hospitality environment. Prior hotel maintenance experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in a maintenance-type role.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance methods.
• Ability to repair/replace basic HVAC systems.
• Basic painting and caulking skills.
• Ability to use standard hand tools and test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance across interior and exterior areas.
• Repair and replace basic building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) as needed.
• Meet safety protocols and maintain organized tool storage.
• Communicate operational needs with supervisors and management.
• Support guest satisfaction through professional service and proactive maintenance.
