The role requires strong leadership, 5+ years in maintenance leadership within hotels, and knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems. Preferred certification as a pool operator.

Qualifications

• Minimum of High School education; post-secondary preferred.
• Minimum of five years in a maintenance leadership position, preferably in hotels.
• Two years of college or trade school in mechanical, electrical, or technical disciplines preferred.
• Certified pool operator certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures proactive preventative maintenance programs to brand standards across hotel equipment.
• Follow safe working practices and conditions.
• Inspects guest rooms after maintenance and reviews issues with staff.
• Maintains an inventory of supplies and a work-order system.
• Prioritizes and completes work orders in a timely manner.
