Qualifications

• Minimum of High School education, post-high school education preferred.
• Two years of college or trade school is preferred.
• Certified pool operator certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures proactive preventative maintenance programs to brand standards across hotel systems (laundry, HVAC, ice machines, fire safety, plumbing).
• Follow safe working practices and conditions.
• Inspects guest rooms after maintenance and communicates issues to staff.
• Maintains inventory of supplies.
• Manages work orders and prioritizes tasks to meet deadlines.
• Oversees pool and spa maintenance per brand standards and health regulations.
• Maintains hotel grounds and building exteriors.
• Assists other departments in fulfilling guest requests and issues.
• Coordinates and supervises contracted capital projects.
• Educates staff on emergency procedures and safety.
